Currently, Waiawa by Gentry is the largest master-planned effort in the State of Hawaii.  Comprised of approximately 4,500 acres of rolling highlands in Central Oahu zoned for urban use, development plans call for a 2,000-acre master-planned community to be built over the next 25 years. This community will include approximately 12,000 residential units, 2 golf courses, and substantial commercial and industrial facilities.  CP&E has provided utilities master-planning and design for Waiawa, including water, wastewater, drainage, grading, and major roadways.  In addition, we are overseeing the engineering of the Panakauahi Gulch crossing, as well as the largest storm drainage arch culvert ever implemented by the City and County of Honolulu.
