Intersection Improvements

This project entailed the re-engineering and design of two traffic-heavy intersections, at Likelike Highway and Alu Street in Kalihi Valley and at Kamehameha Highway and Puuluana Street near Kahuku High School.  CP&E prepared the plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the installation of traffic signal systems at intersections, with appurtenances, ADA-compliant curb ramps, and new pavement markings and signs.  We oversaw all traffic engineering including statistical analyses, evaluation reports, and design of traffic signal systems and interconnects.
