Amfac/JMB Hawaii, Inc. CP&E managed the $1 million demolition of the historic Waipahu Sugar Mill site, which was replaced with 47-acres of industrial and commercial facilities. Lots ranging in size from 16,000 to 20,000 square feet are currently occupied by various wholesale and retail suppliers. CP&E was responsible for major engineering and consolidation tasks related to property easements and dedications, mass-grading, drainage, roadways, water, and sewer totaling $5.5 million in construction costs. The project included the widening of Waipahu Street, an interconnection of two sewer mains, as well as the first detention basin required under revised City drainage standards. |
