Community Planning & Engineering, Inc. (CP&E) was founded in 1957. For the past five decades, CP&E has worked to establish itself as one of Hawaii's premier consultants in land development by engineering creative, cost-effective new communities for public and private sector clients.

As Honolulu matured into its present-day urban character, CP&E has left its mark on the design and development of many of Oahu's major master-planned residential and resort communities. Like its leadership, CP&E remains deeply rooted in Hawaii and is proud to continue to play a major role in the growth of Hawaii's communities. Currently presiding over the firm is Joseph G. Pickard, CP&E's third consecutive owner of Native-Hawaiian ancestry.
