Kapolei Interceptor Sewer

With the rapid growth of Oahu's Second City, wastewater flows were estimated to rise by 200% in the Ewa Plain over a 15 year-period.

As existing sewer mains reached capacity, CP&E was tasked with designing and implementing the $7.3 million Kapolei Interceptor Sewer to service future developments and repair existing infrastructure. This project utilized centrifugally cast fiberglass piping and manholes throughout various lengths of sewer line replacements.
